Copyright Law
Q. How do I get permission to copy or use copyright material?
A. Normally by approaching the copyright owner, but there are a number of organisations that act collectively for groups of copyright owners in respect of particular rights and which may offer "blanket" licences to users.
Q. What would a typical copyright look like?
A. The minimum required is to include a copyright symbol, owner of the materials name and a date wherever material that needs to be protected is displayed. Typically this could be at the bottom of a web page providing it is clearly visible. However it is also good practice to include a link to a new page that explains exactly what can or cannot be copied. An example is;
